Visita de Coordinador de CECA a Universidad de Atacama.
Entre los días miércoles 17 al viernes 19 de Octubre del presente año, el Coordinador del Centro de Educación y Cultura Americana (CECA) Benjamín Silva fue invitado a visitar la Universidad de Atacama (UDA). Dicha actividad se realizó dentro del marco de trabajo que CECA ha buscado desarrollar este año, con la meta de gestar vínculos de trabajo y colaboración de diversas instancias de investigación del ámbito regional de nuestro país.
El día miércoles se dio una reunión con la Decana de la Facultad de Educación y Humanidades de UDA profesora Carla Flores. En dicho encuentro, asistió el profesor responsable de objetivo de investigación del proyecto FID de UDA David Cuadra y la investigadora de Departamento de Inglés Deysi Campos. Se conversaron posibles colaboraciones y trabajos en conjunto, tanto el investigación como en jornadas académicas. Destacamos el cordial y sincero interés de las y los participantes de poder implementar iniciativas colaborativas.
El mismo día Benjamín Silva fue recibido por el Directora del Departamento de Idiomas profesora Marcia Poblete y el docente de dicha unidad académica y con el Sub Director de dicha Unidad Académica profesor Pedro Meléndez. Se conversó la disposición a ayudar en traducciones que trabajos que investigadores de CECA están realizando, además de que Benjamín Silva hará una evaluación de la Revista Alicanto, la cual está asociada a la unidad académica referida. Finalmente se invitó al profesor Pedro Meléndez a escribir un texto para la colección de Historia Social de la Educación Chilena, en su Tomo 6 a publicarse durante el 2020.
El día jueves 19 de Octubre CECA representado por su Coordinador tuvo una reunión con la totalidad del equipo académico de la carrera de Educación de Párvulo (EPA) de dicha casa de estudios, el cual está encabezado por su Directora Educadora Patricia Sasso. En dicho agradable encuentro, que tuvo un almuerzo de camaradería y una reunión de trabajo posterior, se concordó gestar, en alianza entre EPA UDA y CECA, una línea de investigación que rescate y estudie la historia y desarrollo de la educación inicial en la Región de Atacama, desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad. Para ello se convino el poder realizar un trabajo de campo en conjunto, en cual se hará por medio de entrevistas semi estructuradas, revisión bibliográfica y confección de un marco teórico. Se convino la publicación de un libro sobre actrices de la historia del sistema de educación de párvulos en la región de Atacama, texto que se espera lanzar en agosto del 2019. Un segundo producto serán dos publicaciones enviadas a revistas de corriente principal, textos que se terminaran en enero del 2020. Se fijó metodología de trabajo que implicará a investigadores e investigadoras de ambas instancias.
Finalmente el viernes 19 de Octubre Benjamín Silva fue invitado por la carrera de Pedagogía en Inglés a una actividad dentro de su semana de aniversario. En dicha instancia, en la que asistieron autoridades de la Facultad de Educación y Humanidades de la UDA, académicos de diversos departamentos, estudiantes de carrera de Pedagogía en Inglés y Traducción, además de colegios con estudiantes invitados. En la misma, de forma lúdica y creativa, con ayuda de bailes y cantos, se logró demostrar la relevancia del aprendizaje de inglés como segunda lengua.

When I originally commented I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I receive 4 emails with the same comment. There has to be an easy method you are able to remove me from that service? Thanks a lot.
