Durante la mañana del lunes 24 de agosto, en la sección del matinal de TwitterCafé de Radio Valparaíso, Mauricio Córdova y Pablo Ramírez entrevistaron al coordinador del Centro de Educación y Cultura Americana (www.cecamericana.cl) Benjamín Silva Torrealba a propósito de la conmemoración de los 100 años de la Ley de Instrucción Primaria Obligatoria (LIPO).
En esta oportunidad, el profesor Benjamín Silva enfatizó la importancia de la LIPO como el primer hito que generó un cambio en la política pública educativa de nuestro país, en tanto se pasó a entender la educación como el derecho a educarse de toda la ciudadanía y entregó un rol importante al profesorado, como agentes que influyen y deciden sobre educación.
Igualmente, el coordinador y magíster en historia, invitó a todas y todos los interesados al Foro titulado: «A 100 años de la Ley de Instrucción Primaria Obligatoria: Estado Docente con crecientes niveles de responsabilidad en sus aulas» el cual se desarrollará el día miércoles 26 de agosto a las 10:00 hrs.
Este evento, que tiene por objetivo conmemorar los 100 años de la Ley, será presentado por el profesor Iván Núñez Prieto, Premio Nacional de Educación 2015 y el coordinador de CECA y Magíster en Historia Benjamín Silva Torrealba.
