Desde fines de Agosto hasta fines de Noviembre del 20201, el Centro de Educación y Cultura Americana www.cecamericana.cl y EVEP, instancia que aglutina a un conjunto de actores del mundo de la educación, han organizado de forma conjunta el Seminario Virtual “Historia de la Educación de párvulos: pasado y presente en diálogo”. Esta actividad, ha contado con la participación de investigador@s muy destacad@s, que han expuesto -en cuatro jornadas, a razón de una al mes- los rasgos generales de la Historia de la educación parvularia en Chile, desde sus inicios a mediados del siglo XX, hasta la actualidad.

Destacamos que esta actividad ha sido gratuita, congregado a mas de 100 personas que forman parte del medio de la educación inicial, desde distintas perspectivas. Esperamos que los links de las mismas, sean una oportunidad para que más personas puedan verlas y recoger los interesantes temas y experiencias expuestas con quienes las encabezaron y el público asistente. Asimismo, deseamos que este Seminario pueda ser un insumo relevante para todas y todos quienes, como CECA y EVEP, nos interesamos de sobre manera en el ámbito de la educación inicial, donde su pasado, memoria y patrimonio, como ha quedado muy claro en estas cuatro sesiones, es fuente de un rico diálogo con el presente y el futuro de este ámbito educativo, el más importante de la formación humana.
Finalmente, invitamos a diversas instancias de este ámbito de la educación, a que en futuras acciones en conjunto, se puedan sumar a este trabajo colaborativo de CECA y EVEP, de modo de ampliar su impacto y valor, el cual creemos esta reflejado en este Seminario.
