El día viernes 15 de marzo al medio día, el Coordinador del Centro de Educación y Cultura Americana CECA, Benjamín Silva y la investigadora asociada Mg en Historia, Geraldine Sandoval, se reunieron con la directora de la carrera de Educación Parvularia de la Universidad de Playa Ancha Campus San Felipe, Claudia Concha
Esta reunión se constituyó en una segunda instancia de avance en la investigación sobre educación inicial que los investigadores de CECA están llevando a cabo, en la cual se estableció la potencialidad de investigar la carrera de Educación Parvularia como una forma de salir del centralismo Santiago-regiones, pero también del de Valparaíso-interior, resignificando el desarrollo histórico de la zona de Aconcagua.
De esta forma, quedaron establecidos el problema de investigación y la metodología de investigación basada en entrevistas a protagonistas de este proceso, dándole un valor agregado a la investigación al utilizar la historia oral para sustentarla. Tanto los investigadores como la directora de Educación Parvularia quedaron conformes con el avance realizado en la reunión y establecieron los siguientes pasos para avanzar en la investigación.
